Scientists, technologists and engineers
A city home for world class science

You can contribute to this educational and public information site to help people to appreciate the scale and importance of science, technology or engineering in London.

It is very easy to contribute. All we need is 50 - 200 words for a non-technical audience and an image (or two) plus the URL of a web site to link to where people can find out more.

We are looking for contributions to the section Where science is done.

You can contribute to the site online. Alternatively attach your text contribution and an image or two to an e-mail message.

Consider using these headings but you do not have to use them all and the less text the better if there happen to be informative web links.

  • Headline

  • Who we are (name of institution)

  • Where we are (place with postcode)

  • The areas of science we investigate

  • The sorts of methods we use

  • Why our work is interesting and important

  • Where you can find out more (one or more web links)

Find out why the Royal Society thinks it important for scientists to engage in dialogue with the public.

Find out what the Research Councils think about the importance of actively raising public awareness of, and engagement in, science and innovation, including in schools.
