Technology and consumer revolutions
The Museum of Brands Packaging and Advertising
A museum which shows how famous brands evolved with developments in technology from the Victorian era to the present day.
Walking through the time tunnel in this new museum you can see how changes in materials and communication technologies have affected the products and brands that we so easily take for granted.
The museum traces changes in social taste and style with the beginnings of aviation, the jazz age, the replacement of servants by new technologies and the growing influence of TV.
There is a vast collection of objects on display with toys, souvenirs, songsheets, magazines, posters as well as thousands of items that show the evolution of graphic design and pack technology.
