Art meets science in the Euston Road
Wellcome Trust headquarters

The Wellcome Trust is a major patron of artists that explore scientific ideas and imagery.

Wellcome Trust HQ atriumThe The Wellcome Trust's makes grants totalling about ??450 million each year to support research to improve human and animal health.

The Trust has a longstanding interest in exploring the interaction of science and art. This is symbolised by the architecture of its headquarters building, the special displays and sculpture inside the building within the vast atrium.

The building is home to the Wellcome Library. This is a huge collection of books, manuscripts, pictures and films about the history of medicine, from the distant past to the present day.
