Police Cars Become Environmentally-Friendly!
Bio-fuel Joins the Police Force!
Biofuel has become the latest recruit of the Greater Manchester Police Force!
Biodiesel is made from vegetable oil and fossil fuel, which produces fewer harmful gases compared to standard diesel. In addition to the environmentally-friendly nature of biofuel, the fuel costs around the same price as traditional diesel and the cars do not need any specific modifications to use biofuel.
Coinciding with the recent emphasis on the need for renewable energy sources, it will not be long until other Police and Fire Services follow Greater Manchester Police??s example in pledging for environmentally-friendly fuel.
