Salford Aliens: The Sequel
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? A Balloon? Meteor? Salford Witnesses Remain Baffled by Silver UFO

Steven Spielberg??s sci-fi blockbuster War of the Worlds ??landed?? in cinemas nationwide this summer. It may be a strange coincidence that following its release there are numerous UFO sightings all over Salford??s skyline! Or is there something more????..

Philip Sotomski, a confessed UFO sceptic, and four of his colleagues spotted a mysterious silver shape at around 10am on 10th July 2005 and took photographs in hope of explaining the unexplainable.

Chris Parr, a UFO expert from the British UFO Hunters and Britain??s equivalent of X-Files Detective Mulder, investigated the photographic evidence produced by Mr Sotomski and, after using the latest photographic and computer technologies, is convinced that this is a genuine sighting.

Over the following weeks, numerous people admitted seeing the silver shape. In the same month, residents in Irlam witnessed a strange object falling towards earth. Various explanations have been proposed, including a meteor, an atmospheric illusion caused by the sun, and a part of an airliner.

However, these sightings are sci-fi sequels. Earlier this year a similar unidentified flying object was spotted on Salford??s horizon. Like in War of the Worlds, it seems that the aliens have had a number of trips to Earth and have decided they are ready to meet the people of Greater Manchester.

The sightings remain unexplained??.
