The Trafford Centre Gets Bigger!
The Barton Square Extension.
The Trafford Centre is going to get bigger in 2006! A new site called the ??Barton Square?? development will be built adjacent to the main building.
Linked to the Trafford Centre by a glazed bridge, the new 200 000 sqft site will specialise in furniture, home improvement and furnishings for every room, from bathrooms and bedrooms to living rooms and kitchens.
The ??70 million extension is expected to be completed in time for Christmas 2006, with an extra 630 parking spaces to accommodate the volume of customers the ??Barton Square?? is anticipated to attract.
