North East Cities of Science
This web site is a 'Science Year' project for people in North East England to help them find out about the science that goes on in their local area.
From one city to six cities
The 'Cities of Science' concept began with the London website. Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment of Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) and various local sponsorship there are now six Cities of Science - Greater Manchester, Liverpool, London, South West, North East and West Midlands.
