Comitti Barometers and Clocks
Onorato Comitti established his workshops in London as a maker of barometers and related instruments in 1845. It was during the late Victorian period that the company diversified into clockmaking.
Comitti remains a family business. Today, the company is run by the grandsons of George Barker who married Louisa Comitti and joined the business in the 1890s.
Comitti's aspiration is to recreate the extraordinary ingenuity and craftsmanship of the most eminent English makers.
Customers who visit the company's London showroom have an opportunity to view some of the finest workmanship of a bygone age.
