Hope Hospital??s Dr Anthony Hobson is named Young Healthcare Scientist of the Year 2005

In recognition for his research and work into conditions of the gut and gastrointestinal disorders, Hope Hospital??s Dr Anthony Hobson is named Young Healthcare Scientist of the Year.

Dr Hobson has dedicated over ten years of research to the Salford Royal Hospitals NHS Trust, and works in Gastrointestinal Sciences Department at Hope Hospital.
 
He has acquired an impressive repertoire of publications which include ??Processing of GI Sensory Signals in the Brain?? in Physiology of the Gastrointestinal Tract by Leonard R. Johnson, and ??Brain to Gut Signaling: Central Processing?? in Pathophysiology of the Enteric Nervous System by Robin Spiller and David Gundy.
 
Dr Hobson has been the invited speaker at numerous Gastroenterology national and international conferences at Bradford, Birmingham, New Orleans, Geneva, and Sweden.
