Stockton Conservation Volunteers
Tees Valley Wildlife Trust

Calling all budding conservationists. If you have a few hours to spare getting your hands dirty in the name of conservation then come and join the Stockton practical conservation volunteers on a Friday (and occasional Saturday) and help out the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust with vital conservation work in the local area. The group meets at the designated site at 10am (unless otherwise stated) and all are welcome to help. The task programme up until Christmas is as follows:

October 29th Portrack Marsh reserve management work, saturday event to coincide with "Make a Difference Day 2005". Meet at 10am behind the Talpore near the White Water Course.
 
November 4th Work on the Teesside Nature Reserve, tasks currently not specified but details will be available closer to the date.
 
November 11th Scrub Clearance at Hardwick Dene, please meet at the Hardwick in Partnership Centre at 10am.
 
November 18th Scrub Clearance at Hardwick Dene, please meet at the Hardwick in Partnership Centre at 10am.
 
November 19th Weekend Wildbunch Task, Oxbridge allotment work. Task currently not specified but details will be available closer to the date.
 
November 25th Currently free but tasks may arise closer to the date.
 
December 2nd Preparation work for the weekend "Mega Task", task details will be confirmed closer to the date.
 
December 3rd The weekend "Mega Task". Task details are currently not specified but the day will involve work at a site in Stockton followed by an afternoon social at the Cowpen Bewley Activity Centre. The day will run from 10am - 3pm and transport will be arranged.
 
December 9th Cowpen Bewley Footpath, task currently not specified but should be something nice and festive.
 
Remember to bring warm clothing and waterproofs, and a warm drink may be advisable too!
