The Life Sceince Centre has events running through the Christmas period, from exhibitions and activities to interactive demonstrations in the theatre and the public lecture series, alongside the customary outdoor ice rink.

Ice Magic Show Life Theatre
Discover the weird and wonderful things that can happen to everyday objects when subjected to the extremely low temperatures of the Antractic, with demonstrations on the effects of extreme cold on solids liquids and gases.
Mars Quest Exhibit
Still running until the 15th of December, the Mars Quest exhibit provides a unique insight into our nearest neighbour in space.
Visions of Science Exhibit
Running until the 22nd of January 2006, the Visions of Science exhibit teams art with science, displaying images from many different areas of science using a variety of equipment from digital cameras to hi-tech microscopes.
