Teesside Power Station

Teesside Power Sation provides up to 4% of all the electricity used in England and Wales.

Teesside Power Station is the world's largest independant combined cycle, gas-fired power plant which also includes a natural gas processing facility. The power station was completed in 1993 and employs 200 people.
 
Teesside can provide up to 4% of the electricity and 10% of the natural gas requirements of England and Wales. It also provides process steam to the adjacent petrochemical complex at Wilton.
