South West Cities of Science

This web site is a 'Science Year' project for teachers, learners and the public in the South West.

A partnership
The site is being developed by the At-Bristol Education team. At-Bristol is a unique destination bringing science, nature and art to life. A place of discovery and surprise, home to three attractions:
Wildwalk - a journey from the origins of life to the ends of the Earth, including a walk through a tropical forest with free flying birds and butterflies.
Explore - the first true 21st century science centre ?? play virtual volleyball, enter the eye of a tornado, or be the star of your own TV show.
IMAX?? Theatre - a cinema screen that is four storeys high and digital surround sound, a truly immersive experience.

From one city to seven cities
Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment of Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) the South West has joined London along with five other cities from across the country.
